Yogateacher about herself
Tihana Buterin Niepel (1.11.1971)
After she heard and sung Mahamantra on one Hare Krishna festival begun her trip on the yoga path. After some time she received as a present "Yoga", a book from Jasmina Puljo (one of the pioneers of yoga in former
Yugoslavia
). She didn’t understand anything about Yogaphilosophy which was written in it, but she tried some yogapostures and found out that Yoga became a part of her life and it remained so. In the meantime she learned about other yogas, meditations and spiritual life, for example transcendental meditation and ayurveda.
The love to eastern techniques was throughout the years always stronger. 1998 she visited
India
, spent some time in different ashrams, by Sai Baba in Puttaparthy and in Niyyardam - Shivananda ashram. Second time in
India
she decided to learn more about hatha yoga and visited many teachersfrom North to the South, from Rishikesh, over
Bangalore
till touristic Kowalam. Finally she made the Yoga teacher training course in Yoga Vidya Centre in Bad Meinberg, Germany. At the time she is teaching yoga in different centres in Berlin, trying to learn further and hopefully thinking of build an own yoga centre in the near future ...
